La Madeleine Country French Café, a local favorite for French country cuisine and pâtisseries, is offering guests a free mini Liberté Tart on Tuesday, July 14.
July 14 is Bastille Day, the French National Day, commemorating the start of the French Revolution and storming of the Bastille. The day has a strong significance for the French, as it symbolizes the birth of the Republic. The day is celebrated in a similar fashion to the Fourth of July.
In celebration of this French holiday, la Madeleine is treating guests to a free mini Liberté Tart, adorned with fresh blueberries, whipped cream, and raspberries—representing the blue, white, and red of the French flag. Participating la Madeleine Country French Cafés while supplies last.
