Since the first Lee's Sandwiches store opened in 1983, the brand’s aspiration was to bring the hometown Vietnamese flavor to the global community. With that mark of promise, brand executives announce the official opening of the first Lee's Sandwiches store in Oregon, in the Eastport Plaza on 82nd Avenue in Portland. This grand opening also marks Lee's Sandwiches' 55th store. The grand opening celebration will be held on October 18.

The store, a baguette production unit, will also feature an on-site dough treatment system along with the full bread baking equipment line. Customers will have the opportunity to watch as each batch bakes from dough to crispy baguettes. The production unit has the capacity to produce the dough for baguettes and supplies of upcoming Lee's Sandwiches stores in Oregon.

To honor its Oregonian customers who have enjoyed its Banh mi sandwiches and Ca phe sua da, Vietnamese iced coffee, Lee's Sandwiches launched its biggest promotion ever. The first customer in line will win a year's supply of any Banh mi sandwich, and the second customer in line will win a year’s supply of Lee's Coffee. There will also be special gifts for the first 200 Customers in line.

In addition, the new restaurant will also give out free regular-size cup of Lee's Coffee or hot baguette with purchase of any sandwich on October 18–19.
