Lion’s Choice, a St. Louis-based family of restaurants, is celebrating Veterans Day by offering a free original roast beef sandwich for active-and-retired-members of the armed forces.  Veterans are welcome to claim their original roast beef at any Lion’s Choice restaurant on Monday, November 11.

The iconic St. Louis brand has been famous for their ridiculously good roast beef sandwiches since 1967. Lion’s Choice slow roasts their beef for over three hours every day making for a deliciously fresh and nutritious sandwich. The lean, top round beef is served medium rare and shaved extra thin for each made-to-order sandwich.

“Our service men and women have sacrificed so much for our country,” president and CEO of Lion’s Choice, Michael Kupstas, says. “This offer is our small way to show appreciation for the courageous citizens who protect America’s freedom.”

Lion’s Choice offers a variety of sandwiches, salads and sides as well as desserts. Their commitment to doing things the right way extends from their signature menu items to limited time offerings, every day.

With 50 years of unshaken consistency, Lion’s Choice has grown to nearly 30 locations throughout Missouri as well as Western Illinois and Kansas City. This month, Lion’s Choice will open a store in Overland Park, and by January 2020, the brand plans to expand to Liberty (Kansas City), followed by a Lee’s Summit location.
