Liquid Nutrition Group, a beverage, vitamin, and supplement store brand committed to bringing healthy and delicious eating to communities, announced the appointment of Evan Brown to the role of chief financial officer, effective immediately.  

Brown brings a wealth of international accounting experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as assistant controller of York Capital Management in New York. Previously, Brown held the role of vice president at Goldman Sachs & Co., and has worked out of both the Toronto and Cayman Islands offices.

“As Liquid Nutrition rapidly expands, Evan will play an important role on the management team,” says Glenn Young, president of Liquid Nutrition Group. “His international accounting experience and business acumen bring tremendous value to the Liquid Nutrition leadership team and will contribute to our future growth and success.”

Earlier in Brown’s career, he worked for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Deloitte in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda, respectively. 

He is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor degree in commerce from Royal Roads University.

The management team and Board of Directors thank outgoing CFO Mark O’Hara for his valuable contribution to the growth of Liquid Nutrition.

With more than 70 franchises sold in the past year and a recently launched marketing initiative to drive sales in the U.S., Liquid Nutrition is poised to quickly expand its presence in the marketplace. 

By the end of the 2012 calendar year, 20 Liquid Nutrition stores are expected to be open.Franchise opportunities are still available in select Canadian, American, and global marketplaces.
