Tampa-based Little Greek, a fast-casual neighborhood Greek restaurant with an American influence, has launched a new app to make it easier for customers to make in-restaurant purchases and eliminate paper receipts.

“The future is now,” says Nick Vojnovic, Little Greek president. “I think we’ve found the right app that will be convenient and secure for our guests who prefer a paperless experience.”

Users download the Little Greek free app from the Apple Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (android). Then, they create an account and link a valid U.S. credit or debit card, which generates a Quick Response (QR) code. After a customer places their order at any Little Greek restaurant, the QR code is scanned at checkout and a receipt is sent by email.

“This app is a mobile payment system that will give us growth into other technology programs to benefit our customers,” Vojnovic adds.  “The best is yet to come.”

The app is now available for use at all 19 Little Greek restaurants in Arkansas, Florida, and Texas. Little Greek currently has two locations in Arkansas (Little Rock and Fayetteville), 14 locations in the Tampa Bay, Florida-area and three in Texas (Austin, Carrollton, and Richardson).

Later this year, Little Greek will be opening new locations in Clearwater, Spring Hill, and Orlando (Waterford Lakes), Florida; Louisville, Kentucky; as well as Coppell and Preston Hollow, Texas.
