Long John Silver’s is leaning into the pickle craze with a new menu item that puts the seafood chain’s own spin on the trend.
Beginning August 24, the brand will serve Fried Pickles freshly battered in restaurants using the same signature batter featured on its Alaska Pollock since 1969.
The new side is paired with Ranch with Old Bay, combining another popular restaurant flavor—ranch—with a seasoning closely associated with seafood.
The Fried Pickles are part of a larger limited-time menu spanning several price points and occasions. Long John Silver’s is also introducing a Fish & Chicken Platter and a $6 Fish & Chicken Basket.
The platter combines two pieces of Alaska Pollock and one piece of chicken with two sides and two hushpuppies. The $6 basket offers one piece of fish and one piece of chicken alongside a side and two hushpuppies.
On the dessert side, Long John Silver’s is bringing back Pumpkin Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory Bakery for the fall season.
The lineup continues the seafood chain’s strategy of pairing menu innovation with accessible value across its limited-time offerings.
