Maui Wowi announced it has signed a franchise agreement for three tiki carts in Tucson with business partners Scott Bronson and Ken Ordosh.

Scott and Ken are longtime business partners who were looking to get out of the corporate 9-5 grind and be their own bosses. They both have the experience and attention to detail for business ownership: Scott has developed tremendous operations experience through running and growing Dairy Queen, Hot Stuff Pizzas, and Taco Bell Express franchises for over 30 years and Ken served 13 years in the Army and then spent 20+ years in retail. The duo love that with Maui Wowi allows them to interact with the public, get involved with their community, and exposes them to a variety of new experiences.

“Scott and Ken are great additions to our franchise group. With their joint military and franchise experience, they are primed for success as Maui Wowi franchisees. Plus, we are thrilled with their commitment to the Tucson community,” says Misty Hartner, Vice President of Operations. “We know Tucson will be well-served by Bronson and Ordosh and their three Maui Wowi carts.”

Bronson and Ordosh along with other franchisees of Maui Wowi have the benefit of unrivaled franchisee support from Kahala BrandsTM. Every franchisee has full access to an R&D team with chefs dedicated to sweet and savory menu innovations, an in-house social media team, an in-house creative team to help with ads, promos and coupons, a full-service construction team, a hands-on week-long training program, continuing education and more.

“The amount of support and materials available for franchisees is staggering,” says Ordosh. “It’s clear that Kahala Brands and Maui Wowi has nailed down the operational process. They know how to set up each franchisee to be successful, at whatever level of success they want to pursue.”

Bronson adds, “What first got our attention was the mobile part of the concept and comparatively low overhead. Maui Wowi offers tremendous flexibility, growth without compromise, and minimal investment. Plus, we’ve met amazingly helpful fellow franchisees that have already made us feel part of the franchise community.”

The Maui Wowi carts are expected to open in early 2020.
