Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food is bringing more Aloha to Oklahoma with a new restaurant opening Sept. 18 at 14020 N. Rockwell Ave. in northern Oklahoma City.
Located in the Quail Springs area near the Memorial Road corridor and Edmond border, the new restaurant will serve guests across northern Oklahoma City and surrounding communities.
Founded in 2008, Mo’ Bettahs was built on the recipes, traditions and hospitality Kimo and Kalani Mack grew up with on O‘ahu. The brand serves Hawaiian-style plate lunches featuring favorites like teriyaki chicken and steak, kalua pig, pulehu chicken and katsu chicken, paired with steamed rice, vegetables and creamy macaroni salad.
Ahead of the grand opening, Mo’ Bettahs will celebrate with the community during a Friends and ʻOhana event Sept. 17, hosted by cofounders Kimo and Kalani Mack. Guests can enjoy complimentary mini plates and drinks Thursday during lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a block-party-style celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring samples, merch, a caricature artist, and more.
“Oklahoma has been part of the Mo’ Bettahs ʻohana for years, and we’re grateful for the way communities here have welcomed us,” said Kalani Mack, co-founder of Mo’ Bettahs. “Opening another restaurant gives us the chance to share even more of the food, hospitality and Aloha we grew up with in Hawai‘i. We can’t wait to welcome our new neighbors around the table.”
The new Oklahoma City restaurant will be Mo’ Bettahs 82nd nationwide, becoming the newest stop on the brand’s growing map of communities across the country. The opening continues the brand’s corporate-led expansion into new and existing markets.
