Nando’s PERi-PERi, the beloved restaurant brand known worldwide for its flame-grilled chicken and signature PERi-PERi sauce, is offering free wings and chips (fries) for diners who “Bring Your Wingman” to their local Nando’s. The campaign is rooted in the power of a trusted friend: your wingman, wingwoman, or ride-or-die whose recommendation can persuade you to try something new.
From Tuesday Oct. 6 to Tuesday Oct. 20, any Nando’s customer who brings a friend and orders 12 wings and chips (dine-in) gets a second order of wings and chips for free. So, hook up your wingman. (Besties, plus-ones, annoying cousins, more annoying co-workers, and frenemies all qualify.)
“Our flame-grilled wings are meant to be shared, and Nando’s has always been about bringing people together over great food. Bring your wingman – the friend who knows your order – and we’ll cover their wings and chips. Then let them wear the title with an Official Wingman tee,” said Nando’s USA Head of Marketing Yasmin Grant.
Nando’s staff will wear—and guests can purchase—Official Wingman, Certified Wingwoman, and Designated Plus One t-shirts at restaurants throughout the campaign.
But wait, there’s more—a chance to win free Nando’s for a year! Nando’s fans who post a photo with their wingman at Nando’s with the tag @NandosUSA and complete the sentence “They’re my wingman because __,” will be entered for a chance to win free Nando’s for a year—for both guests.
