Anthony is pleased to introduce the iDOOR, which uses a transparent LCD embedded within refrigeration cooler or freezer doors that plays full motion video at the point of purchase. This patented technology allows video and animation in full HD to be played on the door while giving customers the ability to still see the products contained within the cooler or freezer.

The iDOOR represents a leap forward in digital signage that successfully combines digital technology and in-store merchandising strategies that delivers proximity-based messaging for improved shopper engagement and conversion. This technology delivers high-definition visual promotions that target and connects with shoppers’ lifestyle and demographics. This next-generation digital platform provides tremendous shopper engagement by placing actionable messages in the shoppers’ line of sight and within arm’s reach of the product.

“The iDOOR will revolutionize how retailers merchandise their brands, increase impulse purchases and engage with customers through cooler and freezer refrigeration glass doors,” says Anthony president Craig Little. “The iDOOR is a powerful tool for grocery and convenience store retailers to connect customers with limited time offers and store brand messages at the point of purchase.”

The iDOOR is the only digital solution for cooler and freezer door lineups that connects the shopper, message, and product at the same time, allowing retailers to understand and engage with customers’ changing eating and shopping habits on a more relevant and personal level. This technology is also the first of its kind to deliver day-parted messaging and allows retailers to meta-tag stores by environmental factors. The iDOOR displays messages based on the time of day, day of the week, or special events and seasons.
