In keeping with its rich cultural roots, Panda Express, the nation’s largest Chinese restaurant brand, is launching a five-week Chinese New Year promotion to celebrate the Year of the Horse at its more than four hundred locations throughout the United States. The promotion will run February 3 through March 9, 2002.
Festive and colorful hanging red and green scrolls inscribed “Kung Hay Fat Choy,” wishing happiness and good fortune to all, will greet guests along with a complimentary red envelope that includes a Year of the Horse description and two coupons. The coupons are for a free entree item and $2.00 off a Family Meal purchase. The featured menu item to celebrate Chinese New Year will be “Firecracker Beef.” Crispy Apple Dumplings will also be offered at participating locations during the New Year celebration.
