Panorama Middle Eastern Grill has announced the arrival of its first concept in New York. The all-day dining establishment will open this month at 820 Broadway (at 12th Street), half a block from the Strand Bookstore. Panorama is backed by Canadian real-estate developer, LJM Developments, and has immediate plans to open 14 more locations in the Greater New York area over the next few years.

“With a prime location right off Union Square, we are thrilled to offer exotic Levantine dishes with traditional recipes in Manhattan,” says Shaheryar Mian owner of the 820 Broadway location. “We are excited to bring new energy to the neighborhood and become part of the community through our quality of food and celebration of diversity.”

Panorama Middle Eastern grill will serve as the ideal dining destination for halal and health conscious diners as their market-driven concept will embrace the fresh and exotic flavors of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine.

The pan-Middle Eastern menu was conceptualized with the help of Culinary Director Julien Iaconelli, who was formerly with by CHLOE. Iaconellli will offer baked pita, charcoal-barbecued, free range, grass fed, and hormone/antibiotic free meats and doner kebab. Every menu item is made fresh, in-house daily.

Highlights on the menu include: the 7-Spice Chicken Shawarma, Popcorn Falafel, Freekeh with yogurt mint sauce and falafel, Shawarma Fries with garlic-tahini, the Doner Burger, Moutabbal, Kafta, Chicken Shish, Crispy Falafel, Tzatziki, Fattoush salad and the overseas cult favorite Halloumi Fries. House-made dips include a 72-hour Hummus, Mouttabal and Labne. Panorama will feature ancient supergrain freekeh as a set piece to its Levantine plates.

A selection of freshly made juices will be available as well as the house signature “Lebonade,” a sparkling rosewater and mint limonada. The restaurant also offers a selection of hot drinks including cappuccino and coffee, which can be complimented with Baklava.

Upon entering the space, guests are instantly greeted by rich color palates and modern décor with touches of traditional elements of the restaurant’s cuisine. Hand-made communal tables as well as individual tables are situated throughout, creating an inviting space, ideal for dining. Blonde woods and marble tabletops blend with the Mediterranean tile, which line the floors, creating an elegant and airy atmosphere. The gold design filled walls flair throughout the restaurant while a tasteful array of books and historical photos are on display, curated via a local partnership with Panorama’s New York City neighbor, the Strand Bookstore.

Panorama will be open daily, seven days a week.
