Good fortune and delicious food are coming to Richardson, Texas, as Pei Wei, the fast-casual restaurant known for its bold flavors and affordable Asian-inspired menu, prepares to celebrate the grand opening of its 200th location on October 26.
The newest restaurant, located at 1401 West Campbell Road, Suite 200, will open its doors to the public at 11 a.m. with special festivities to last throughout the day.
Pei Wei CEO Ralph Bower and regional vice president Pete Botonis will be joined by City of Richardson officials and other dignitaries for a special ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m. to kick off the event.
“This is a wonderful milestone for Pei Wei and an opportunity to invite the community to a very special celebration,” Bower says. “Thanks to our incredible guests and our goal to offer them a unique dining experience at every turn, we look at this 200th location as a gateway for many more great things to come.”
The Richardson grand opening will include sushi samples and free T-shirts while supplies last. Guests also can enter a grand opening giveaway in person from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. for a chance to win prizes including an iPad mini and Pei Wei gift cards.
KSCS Radio host, Connected K, will be live with additional giveaways, including Zac Brown concert tickets, and taking pictures with guests from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
“We are firing up the woks and going all out for this one,” Botonis says.
The 200th celebration is the latest in a record year of expansion for the chain with five more locations expected to open by the end of the year.
