Pie Five Pizza is opening its sixteenth North Texas location in Flower Mound. That means residents near The Shops at Highland Village can get saucy salvation via Pie Five’s signature pies or build their own creations, and receive it in less than five minutes. That’s not the best part, though; on opening day, Friday, August 21, Pie Five will be hosting a Sweet 16 party to celebrate its newest location at 3701 Justin Road.
“We’ve opened stores all over the country this year, but hitting sweet 16 in our hometown is a reason to celebrate—and parties are always bigger in Texas,” says Randy Gier, CEO of Rave Restaurant Group Inc. “We celebrate individualism and take pride in crafting pizza the right way. Everything from our hand-cut veggies to our homemade desserts can make customers feel good about what they are eating at Pie Five.”
What’s a party without a VIP? On opening day at 5:30 p.m., Pie Five customers will have the chance to meet Deuce from the Frisco Roughriders. Pie Five will also be giving 50 percent of pre-opening day proceeds to Marcus High School. The party will continue on Friday, August 28 with $5 pies at all DFW locations from 6 to 8 p.m. Radio station Now 102.9 will also be on-site giving away surprises on location.
The unique Pie Five model allows patrons to top their pizzas any way they want for the low price of $6.99, perfectly baked in only 145 seconds in a custom-designed, state-of-the-art oven. There are millions of possible pizza combinations Pie Five customers can create with four crusts (including artisan thin, classic pan, whole-grain Neapolitan, and gluten-free), seven sauces, and 28 fresh toppings. Additionally, they can add one of Pie Five’s freshly tossed hand-made salads served in a baked pizza dough bowl or a decadent home-baked brownie or cookie pie.
Pie Five opened its first location in Fort Worth’s historic Montgomery Plaza in 2011. The Flower Mound is the 16th in Dallas-Fort Worth and the 58th location nationwide. Pie Five has approximately 400 additional company-owned and franchise locations in development across the country.
