Pie Five Pizza recently signed a deal to partner with KidZania, the leading global brand of interactive education and entertainment centers for children.
With locations in 21 different countries, KidZania will open its first U.S. location at Stonebriar Centre in Frisco in fall of 2019. Pie Five will have two locations inside the first U.S. KidZania—one where kids will role play as chefs who make Pie Five pizzas and another as a restaurant on the mezzanine level inside KidZania for guests.
At KidZania, nearly a million children who visit each year have an opportunity to role-play more than 100 professions within an average 80,000-square-foot indoor city, helping them learn more about what careers they may be interested in, how a city works and how to manage money.
“The KidZania experience allows kids to learn about the world of work while building real-life skills like financial literacy, teamwork and problem solving,” says Greg Stevens, CEO of KidZania USA. “We’re excited to have Pie Five on board to give kids the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a chef as they expand their knowledge of different careers.”
Bob Bafundo, president of Rave Restaurant Group, said KidZania is the perfect match for a partnership with Pie Five because Pive Five appeals to kids of all ages.
“This is an excellent partnership for us because we’re able to educate children about how pizza is made, and even more importantly, about teamwork,” Bafundo says. “Teamwork is at the root of every successful company, and this partnership allows us to make a positive impact on generations to come. We can’t wait to be a part of the KidZania team, and we look forward to the growth this brand is bringing to our country.”
