Dreamt up at a backyard barbecue and launched in 2010 on a shoestring budget in an off-the-beaten-path location in Westchester, Florida, PINCHO is the homegrown fast casual success story owned and operated by cousins Otto Othman, Nedal Ahmad and Nizar Ahmad. Much has happened since those first days, with one small store in Westchester that quickly gained the attention of locals and has gone on to become one of South Florida’s most beloved restaurant concepts. Milestones abounded across the brand’s successful timeline. In addition to commercial success and growth – 10 locations throughout Miami Dade and Broward counties – the concept and its food have gone on to win countless awards including (but not limited to) two wins at the annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s renowned Burger Bash. Their first win in 2015, which signaled the first time a local restaurant beat out top chefs and concepts from across the country, helped catapult PINCHO onto the national stage and sparked the expansion it has enjoyed the last five years. “We are truly blessed to have been so embraced by the community,” says Othman. “We have an amazing team that works very hard each day to make sure we deliver great food and service but even with that it comes down to our guests and how happy we make them. We’re thrilled to be celebrating ten years and hope to have ten more on the horizon.”

To commemorate the occasion and thank those who have supported the brand over the last decade, PINCHO is leaning into the theme of “10” and giving folks plenty of reasons to get excited and join the celebration. Introducing 10 Years, 10 Days of PINCHO! Breakdown is as follows:

Kicking off on November 6 and running until November 16, customers are encouraged to share photos from PINCHO on social media and will automatically be entered to win a PINCHO Black Card valued at $1,000. Ten days, ten winners, $10,000 total; $1,000 for each winner to use towards PINCHO menu items. To be eligible, guests’ photos must tag @pincho and include the hashtag #10YearsofPINCHO.

On Monday, November 16, PINCHO will introduce two new versions of its recently launched and wildly popular fried chicken sandwich, El Crispy (and El Crispy Deluxe). By popular demand, the two new versions will be Spicy and Spicy AF. “We’re bringing the heat to the chicken sandwich war for sure,” quips Othman, who recently hosted a Chicken Sandwich Peace Summit to celebrate the arrival of PINCHO’s own El Crispy chicken sandwich.

PINCHO is doubling down on their commitment to promote Chicken Sandwich Peace in 2020. The celebration will culminate on Thursday, November 19 from 11AM to 2PM with a BYOC special at all locations. On that day, PINCHO is inviting guests of Chick-fil-A and Popeyes to break bread. Customers who show up and “Bring Your Own Chicken” (a sandwich from either Popeyes or Chick-fil-A) will be able to buy an El Crispy original, Spicy or Spicy AF for $1. “Even though Chick-fil-A and Popeyes did not show up to our Chicken Sandwich Peace Summit, we want to show them that we mean peace by inviting their guests into our home and showing them some love,” Othman adds.
