Salsarita’s debuted a new dessert, Poquitos, today. Poquitos are Salsarita’s take on traditional Mexican favorite: the churro. Realizing the lack of variety offered on the dessert menu in most fast-casual Mexican restaurants, Salsarita’s is bringing the alternative to its customers.
Translated loosely, the term “poquito” means “little,” but these bite-size treats boast big flavor in every bite. Small bites of dough rolled in cinnamon and sugar, Poquitos are served hot and offer the perfect ending to a meal.
“Poquitos satisfy your need for just a little something sweet after enjoying the bold flavors that Salsarita’s has to offer,” says Salsarita’s CEO Phil Friedman. “The new item was developed using authentically inspired flavors from Mexico, but with a Salsarita’s spin.”
Poquitos will come in packs of three or a baker’s dozen and will also be available on the catering menu.
