Qdoba Mexican Grill is continuing to expand its presence in Manhattan by offering New Yorkers more affordable fresh meals at its fifth New York location at 135 West 50th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues. The new restaurant opened to the public on Monday, July 14.

“With the opening of this new Qdoba, we now have five restaurants that have opened in Manhattan in roughly three years,” says Gary Beisler, CEO and president of Qdoba Mexican Grill. “We are thrilled to have expanded so quickly in the Manhattan area and are delighted to give New York residents and visitors alike a variety of locations to choose from and experience our fresh ingredients, quick service, and great food.”

In celebration of the store’s opening, Graig Nettles, former Yankees third-baseman, will sign autographs on Friday, July 18, from 11:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m. at the Qdoba located on 135 West 50th Street. Visitors to Qdoba during this time can donate $5 to the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, http://www.starlight.org, and in return receive a free entree of their choice.

In addition, starting Monday, July 14 through July 31, all Qdoba customers can swipe their Qdoba Cards at the 135 West 50th location and enter to win a Qdoba Adventure of a Lifetime: two tickets to see the Yankee’s last game at Yankee Stadium on September 21, at 1:10 p.m. The Yankees will play the Orioles. Winners will travel in a limo to the game and enjoy dinner from Qdoba.

To bring the flavor of Qdoba to parties, events, or business meetings, Qdoba offers catering services with hot taco, nacho, and Naked Burrito bars and special box lunches. Qdoba Catering offers an alternative to traditional platters of cold-cut sandwiches or pizza, and the catering bars come complete with salsas, chafing dishes that keep meats warm and juicy, and a full set of utensils and napkins.

The new restaurant, located on 135 West 50th Street will serve customers in-store and through catering from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
