Following last week’s successful launch of its new webinar series, “QSR Considers,” QSR magazine announced the upcoming second installment in the series.
Titled “Where Emerging Brands Go from Here,” the webinar will discuss the challenges faced by smaller multiunit concepts throughout the pandemic, how these brands are pivoting to regain their momentum, and new strategies that can position them for success in the long run. Once again moderated by QSR editor Sam Oches, the panel conversation will feature Bill Phelps, CEO of the buzz-worthy franchise Dave’s Hot Chicken; Denyelle Bruno, CEO of chef-forward fast casual Tender Greens; and Alonso Castaneda, vice president of brand development and strategy at emerging-brand incubator Four Foods Group.
“The last decade saw an explosion in new quick-serve and fast-casual concepts that bring incredible quality and energy to the industry, and that really challenge the foodservice status quo,” Oches says. “The momentum those brands have built has been upended by the pandemic, but this webinar will set out to provide some useful advice for how emerging operators can find solid footing and get back to growing.”
The “QSR Considers” webinar series features panel conversations with industry experts covering a variety of pandemic-related topics. Each panel will provide some practical advice for operators looking to boost their sales, expand their reach, and fortify their team through the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
“Restaurant professionals today need as much information as possible to help them through this season, and practical tips and strategies are especially valuable for keeping the lights on, keeping your team employed, and providing a great experience for your customers,” Oches says. “We’re all in this together as an industry, and we can all lend a hand to each other by sharing our unique perspectives.”
The “Where Emerging Brands Go from Here” webinar will run on Thursday, May 28, at 2 p.m. EST. To register for that program, click here.
