Grown, Miami’s 100 percent organic fast-food restaurant by owners/co-creators, Shannon and Ray Allen, is taking root at Hard Rock Stadium for the 2016—17 season. The highly celebrated concept offers high quality farm-to-fork cuisine with the convenience of fast-food dining.
While taking in a sporting event, concert or other world-class event, Hard Rock Stadium goers can now experience the fresh flavors of Grown. “We are excited to let the world know that together with Centerplate and the beautiful new Hard Rock Stadium, we'll be expanding our brand and our vision to provide spectators with organic, delicious, freshly prepared meals,” says Shannon Allen. “For years our family has had the privilege and honor of cheering on Ray in sports venues throughout the country, and now we are proud to be able to provide guests—vegans, paleos, families with children with food allergies, those looking to stay on their diets—a place where they can indulge without the guilt.”
Grown can be found in two locations, on the BankUnited Club Level and at Section 148-A. The approachable, organic menu is perfect for spectators on the-go and will include some of the concept’s most popular wraps, salads, fresh pressed juices and smoothies. Grown’s offerings are both vegan and paleo-friendly and wraps can be made on a gluten-free wrap, by request, to accommodate any sensitivities. Menu highlights include the Mediterranean wrap or salad made with organic mixed greens, quinoa tabbouleh, hummus, roasted red pepper, marinated red onion, vine ripened tomatoes, feta cheese and green olives topped with a herb yogurt dressing; and a Havana wrap or salad tossed with wild caught shrimp, organic mixed greens, pico de gallo, black bean & corn salsa, white cheddar, avocado and crispy tortilla strips with a cilantro lime vinaigrette. Those looking to indulge in a guilt-free lunch or dinner for themselves or their little ones can enjoy the delicious wild-caught salmon burger with caramelized onion, vine ripened tomatoes, butter lettuce and Dijon aioli on a flourless Ezekiel bun with sweet potato chips; or the organic free-range panko encrusted chicken tenders with sweet potato chips and freshly cut organic fruit.
In addition to fresh salad creations and wraps, BankUnited Club Level members can enjoy Grown’s grass fed, slow-cooked brisket served with mashed sweet potatoes and Mexican corn with Memphis BBQ sauce; organic free-range rotisserie chicken with rice and beans and sautéed organic broccoli; or wild-caught grilled salmon with quinoa tabbouleh and chilled sautéed broccoli with herb yogurt dressing.
Fresh pressed juices and smoothies available at the stadium will include the Carpe Diem made with carrots, cucumber, apple, ginger and lemon; the Love Greens with cucumber, apple, celery, pineapple, ginger, spinach, kale and parsley; the 34 Smoothie made with banana, cinnamon, almond butter, almond milk, vanilla extract; and the Tropical Breeze with pineapple, banana, strawberry, yogurt and coconut water.
