The National Food Service Security Council (NFSSC), a trade association for loss prevention and risk management professionals in the casual-dining and quick-service restaurant chain industry, announced that its 2010 Annual Meeting will take place August 1–4, 2010, in St. Louis.

“NFSSC is pleased to bring its 31st annual conference to the Midwest for the first time in many years,” says Cliff Stepp, director of assets protection at Yum! Brands and president of the NFSSC. “We believe St. Louis is an ideal location of the 2010 meeting. Not only will members find the location vibrant with many activities surrounding the event, but St. Louis also gives a great many of our members nationwide an affordable location with easy access from anywhere in the U.S. It’s important that we provide an opportunity for all our members to have a chance to participate in our annual meeting. It is the most ideal way to see, learn, and network with our industry leaders and peers from the vastly different chains and operations our industry represents.”

The NFSSC annual conference will feature keynotes, educational sessions and workshops, exhibits, private meetings, and a host of entertaining networking functions.

“Participants will see a number of exciting changes at the 2010 meeting, aimed at providing better quality networking and more business opportunities,” says Jeff Levitt, senior manager of asset protection for Panera Bread, and the 2010 Planning Committee chairman.

The 31st Annual NFSSC Conference will take place at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.
