Salata is opening two more restaurants in its hometown this week.

On April 6, a new Salata will open at the company’s new headquarters building, located at 16720 Park Row in Houston. Then on Friday, Salata will open its 30th Houston-area restaurant at 7457 Southwest Freeway, near the campus of Houston Baptist University.

“We can’t wait to welcome residents, workers and students to these two new restaurants so they can experience our unique salad bar concept,” says Berge Simonian, founder and CEO of Salata. “We are dedicated to serving healthy, quality food to our guests both day and night and we’re looking forward to becoming an integral part of the HBU campus and the community surrounding our new headquarters.”

On grand opening day, the first 50 dine-in customers at both of the new restaurants will eat for free and receive a free Salata gift bag. All of the guests will have a chance to win coupons, merchandise and Salata for a year. Guests will also receive a free dessert with the purchase of a salad or wrap throughout opening day.

The Park Row restaurant will donate 15 percent of its opening-day sales to the American Cancer Society. In addition, 15 percent of opening day sales at the university location will be donated to the HBU Scholarship Fund. A disc jockey will be on-hand playing music to pump up the crowd and guests will have the opportunity to capture these fun moments in a free on-site photo booth.

The Park Row location will be open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The restaurant is closed Saturdays and Sundays. The HBU Salata will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
