Houston-based Salata continues its rapid expansion with its new FIGat7th location—its third location in downtown Los Angeles and 48th nationwide. To celebrate, Salata will offer a free salad or salad wrap and a signature drink to the first 48 guests in line on Thursday, August 6. Additionally, all salads and salad wraps will be sold at half-price on grand opening day.

The new Salata location is locally owned and operated by Salata franchisee Ara Simonian, who also owns the two other downtown locations in the Citi National building and California Plaza. It will feature an updated, refreshed look and new digital menu boards.

“FIGat7th is a premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, and we know Salata will be a great addition to its TASTE Food Hall,” says Simonian. “Our fresh salad and wrap options are perfect for guests seeking a quick, healthy option, or a leisurely lunch or dinner.”

At Salata, guests can create customized salads or wraps from their choice of fresh, healthy ingredients—including a variety of lettuce, vegetables, beans, fruits, cheeses, seeds, nuts, house-made dressings, and more. Salads and wraps are assembled and tossed by staff and sold for a set price rather than by weight. Proteins can be added for a small additional charge and include chicken, seafood, and vegan options such as baked tofu and quinoa. Diners can also purchase freshly prepared soups, fresh-baked breads, and desserts.
