Slim Chickens, a fast-casual franchise which features dine-in and drive-through in the “better chicken” segment, announced today it has inked a deal to bring 30 locations to cities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Break Bread Ventures, which consists of Jonathan Crumpler, Rob Bryan, Josh Frankel, and an investor group, will be bringing the restaurants to several key trade areas, including Charlotte, Piedmont Triad, and Fayetteville, North Carolina; Columbia and Rock Hill, South Carolina; and Lynchburg, Roanoke, and Blacksburg, Virginia.

The better-chicken brand has opened more than 125 locations across the United States, Kuwait and the United Kingdom, and is known for its passionate group of followers in the markets in which it operates. With more than 500 locations in development, the brand’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
