Steak ‘n Shake, famous for the Original Steakburger and hand-dipped Milk Shakes, celebrates the grand opening of its first restaurant in Augusta, Georgia at 4329 Belair Frontage Road. The restaurant opens its doors this Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. Preston Moss, managing partner of CSRA Shakeburger LLC will host the festivities. Mayor of Augusta, Deke Copenhaver, will also be in attendance.

Sardar Biglari, CEO of Steak ‘n Shake, comments, “We are extremely excited to bring another Steak ‘n Shake restaurant to Georgia. Steak ‘n Shake, founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by restaurateur Gus Belt, is the pioneer in the “better burger” segment of the restaurant industry. In addition to showcasing the new design, Steak ‘n Shake continues its 78-year-old tradition of serving a variety of Steakburgers and Milk Shakes including the newest and tastiest offerings, the Oktoberfest Steakburger as well as the limited-time only Caramel Apple and Campfire S’mores Milk Shakes.
 
Steak ‘n Shake guests can also enjoy a number of daily deals beginning with the Half Price Happy Hour on all milk shakes and drinks served weekdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Kids Eat Free on Weekends, and the “4 meals under $4 menu.”
