Sunbliss Cafe, Orange County founded specialty latte and acaí focused concept, announced its partnership with San Diego based investment firm and restaurant development company, The Aurora Group. Sunbliss was founded in 2020 by Taniya Ahmed and debuted its first location in Anaheim Hills, located at 701 S Weir Canyon Rd. Since opening their doors, Sunbliss has been met with critical acclaim. With a focus on quality, local ingredients, it seeks to inspire customers to learn about and invest in their health. The concept has garnered social media buzz with its bright blue lattes and Instagrammable interior, the cafe has become a popular destination for coffee, tea, and healthy bites like acaí bowls and avocado toast. People are taking notice, Sunbliss was awarded the #6 spot on Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat, a list of the best restaurants across the U.S., with the help of votes from Yelp users.

In 2023, Sunbliss partnered with family owned investment firm, The Aurora Group, to expand the concept throughout Southern California, and eventually nationally. “We had the privilege of meeting Taniya in 2022, thanks to our partner and Director of Operations, Ryan Miller. He spotted the concept, Taniya’s unique talents, and saw the potential. After spending a year getting to know each other, it was abundantly clear Taniya is an incredible entrepreneur and force of nature. She’s built the foundation of a fantastic brand which embodies the values we care deeply about.” says The Aurora Group CEO Dr. Kevin Smothers. 

The combined team is already working on expansion opportunities throughout Orange County and has signed a lease in the Corona Del Mar neighborhood of Newport Beach at 3348 East Coast Hwy.  

Sunbliss was created from deeply personal experiences. Taniya shares, “Creating Sunbliss wasn’t just about fulfilling a dream for myself, it was about honoring the legacy of the happiest memories from my life and cultural upbringing. Every cup of coffee, every healthy bowl, and every toast is made with the intention of sharing that joy with you.
