By way of popular demand, Taco Cabana is bringing Texas Brisket back to its menu. Beginning March 5, TC fans can enjoy Applewood-Smoked Texas Brisket on a wide variety of their favorite menu items.
“For some time now, our guests have asked that we bring brisket back to Taco Cabana and we couldn’t be happier to answer their request,” says Chuck Locke, Taco Cabana President.
Taco Cabana’s new premium brisket is prepared in the heart of Texas and smoked for up to 16 hours with a blend of Applewood and Hardwoods. It’s the perfect complement to Taco Cabana’s authentic Tex-Mex flavors.
“It’s no secret that Texans love brisket,” says Locke. “We’re doing it big and bringing it back across the breadth of our menu, leveraging our signature flavors and ingredients.”
Guests will be able to savor Taco Cabana’s new Applewood-Smoked Texas Brisket on many of their favorite menu items, including:
Loaded Brisket Tacos (two for $5.89 or $2.99 each), available in the following recipes:

- Fried Jalapeños & Onion Strips (Texas Toothpicks) with BBQ Sauce
- Brisket Only (no toppings with a side of BBQ sauce)
- Brisket Quesadilla (small $5.79 and large $8.99)
- Brisket Nachos ($5.69)
- All-Day Breakfast Brisket & Egg Taco ($2.39)

Taco Cabana is also excited to debut the latest editions of its TC Time!
