Tijuana Flats announced the launch of “Restaurant Partners Helping Heroes” (RPHH), a program to bring restaurants in Florida together in a coordinated effort to raise funds to purchase and deliver food to front-line medical and emergency workers across the state.

Sponsored by Tijuana Flats’ charitable arm, the Just In Queso Foundation, RPHH will collect funds which will be used to purchase food from local restaurants partnering in the program. The purchased food will then be donated and delivered to medical personnel, nursing home and assisted living facility staff, police officers, paramedics and fire fighters.

“During this time of crisis, our front-line emergency and medical workers across our country have stepped up in a big way,” said Meagan Gallagher, Executive Director, Just In Queso Foundation. “We are honored to be able to give back to these heroes in this way, and to be able to support local restaurants at the same time is an extra bonus.”

Tax-exempt donations to the RPHH program may be made via GoFundMe Charity at this link.

Restaurants interested in participating in the RPHH program may contact Meagan Gallagher at Meagan.Gallagher@tijuanaflats.com or 407-506-1625.
