Tijuana Flats, the Orlando, Florida-based Tex-Mex favorite, today announced the remodel of its Longwood, Fla. restaurant at 2401 W State Rd 434 #117. The prototype store will match the design of the company’s recently opened Ocoee location and remodeled Aloma Ave. location, and will include a fresh new look with technology upgrades and architectural enhancements to create an exceptional guest experience.

The new-look store will feature a revamped curbside pickup program as well as digital menu boards for easy ordering. It will also showcase order status boards linked directly to the kitchen so that guests can see order statuses in real time. The location will also have a colorful wall mural painted by Nate Baranowski as well as a new-and-improved version of the famous Tijuana Flats hot sauce bar.

The restaurant’s mural will pay homage to the largest bald cypress tree in North America, which called Longwood home until it was burned down in 2012. Still a local legend within the community, the tree is featured in the mural with a scientist concocting a formula to rebuild it.

Guests who want to check out the new location can mark their calendars for Tijuana Flats’ Memorial Day deal available for pick-up and to-go at all locations. Between Friday, May 28 and Sunday, May 30, guests can purchase a $40 Taco Meal Kit Bundle that includes a taco kit, family-style chips and salsa, and a gallon of tea or lemonade. $6 extra for steak. Feeds 4 – 6.

“As we have continued to expand our new prototype stores around Central Florida, Longwood was a clear choice for the next new-look restaurant,” says Tijuana Flats CEO Brian Wright. “It has been a staple of the Longwood community for 15 years, and will be enjoyed by loyal guests for many more years to come.”
