Tim Hortons restaurants, owners, and guests in the U.S. are sharing smiles and supporting local charities through the return of the annual Smile Cookie campaign. Through September 22, guests can purchase a Tim Hortons chocolate chunk Smile Cookie for $1, plus applicable taxes. The full $1 proceeds will be donated to local charities, hospitals and community programs, directly impacting the communities where the cookies are sold.

“We always get excited to support our local communities through the annual Smile Cookie program,” says Stephen Goldstein, Regional President, Tim Hortons U.S. “Our Restaurant Owners and Guests across the U.S. can feel good about impacting their local communities, organizations, and charities through the money raised with the Smile Cookie program.”

The Smile Cookie campaign began in 1996 as a way to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario, Canada, and has grown to become a major fundraising event at participating Tim Hortons Restaurants. Thanks to the generosity of Tim Hortons Restaurant owners and guests, the Smile Cookie campaign supports 34 local charities, hospitals and community programs across the United States.
