Top That! Pizza’s fifth location opened on February 25 in Mansfield, Texas, at 3300 E. Broad Street. It is the pizza startup’s first out-of-state location and one of 10 additional units planned for Texas in the next year.

The Mansfield unit is owned and operated by Ft. Worth resident Tim Staley. Staley is no stranger to franchising. He has more than 25 years of experience in customer service-focused businesses, owning and operating a chain of 11 early-learning center franchises and now brings his operational expertise to the Top That! Pizza system.

He has already secured the lease for a second location in Denton and plans to open a third unit in Ft. Worth this year.

“We’re really excited to be in Mansfield because of its community spirit,” Staley says. “We’re looking forward to bringing people and their families something they have never experienced before: the freedom to create their own pizzas just the way they want them.”

Top That! Pizza’s first unit opened in October of 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then began offering franchises in January of 2011, with the first franchise opening in October of 2011 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The other two franchised locations are also in Tulsa.

Separate franchise locations are under development in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Central Texas.
