Daniel E. Woodside, president and chief executive officer of Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, LLC (UFPC), announced that UFPC Equipment Sales (a business division of UFPC) and its acquisition partners, UFPC Smallwares Connection and UFPC International Equipment Connection, will acquire specific business segments of PrimeSource FoodService Equipment, Inc.
“We expect this transaction will enable UFPC and our acquisition partners to realize significant synergies and enhance our ability to provide exceptional equipment sales, value, and service to our members,” Woodside says.
UFPC Equipment Sales, UFPC Smallwares Connection (The Wasserstrom Company), and UFPC International Equipment Connection (Franke Resupply Systems, Inc.) are acquisition partners in the PrimeSource transaction and will each benefit with an expanded customer base in the domestic equipment, smallwares and international equipment, and smallwares arenas, respectively.
