Big Chicken, Shaquille O’Neal’s fast-casual chicken restaurant in Las Vegas, just brought back the Uncle Jerome sandwich as a permanent menu item. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is a creation by Jerome Crawford, O’Neal’s longtime bodyguard. It was originally selected as a limited edition menu item by Facebook Watch viewers on Big Chicken Shaq’s season finale over the Chicago sandwich, created by Anthony Hall.

Uncle Jerome was retired in February when the Charles Barkley sandwich launched. The Charles Barkley sandwich is still available for a limited time.

The restaurant’s opening in October 2018 was chronicled with Big Chicken Shaq, an eight-episode Facebook Watch series that followed O’Neal and his restaurant team. Throughout the course of the series, fans had the opportunity to vote on menu items, final ingredients for certain dishes and even the restaurant’s logo.

Big Chicken’s menu includes signature chicken sandwiches, sauces and sides to milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches. Big Chicken, located just off the Las Vegas Strip across from the Hard Rock Hotel, offers diners a full-service bar, late-night hours, a backyard-style gaming area and online ordering.
