Uncle Maddio's Pizza is growing its marketing team. CEO Matt Andrew has named Mollie Tregembo as vice president of marketing and Tammy Lucich as senior field marketing manager for the fast-casual pizza franchise. Andrew cited recent minority shareholder investments as the top reason the growing pizza restaurant has been able to provide best practices marketing support for its franchisees.
Mollie Tregembo joins Uncle Maddio’s with a range of 27 years of marketing experience from leading companies such as Nokia, EarthLink, and most recently InterContinental Hotel Group. During her career, Tregembo has built and grown emerging brands, making her a perfect addition to the Uncle Maddio’s team. She has a proven record in marketing, public relations, strategic planning, loyalty programs, and franchisee relations. The past 3.5 years Tregembo led brand and marketing for the first holistic wellness hotel brand EVEN Hotels and the restaurant Cork & Kale from conception to execution.
Tammy Lucich comes to Uncle Maddio’s with nearly 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. She spent the past 10 years working in the marketing department for Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers, where she drove the vision of the initial field-marketing program for the restaurant. Throughout her time there, she created and executed over 30 results-oriented national food and beverage marketing programs as well as planned five national franchisee conferences.
“As we sign on new franchisees, it is important that we have a solid group of leaders to support both company and franchisee marketing programs,” Andrew says. “Mollie and Tammy have the experience and energy to create new marketing initiatives that our franchisees and employees alike can be excited about.”
Since launching its aggressive growth plan in 2008, Uncle Maddio's has signed franchise agreements with 65 different entities in 19 states. Many of Uncle Maddio's franchisees have previous multiunit experience with Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Burger King, Krystal, Papa John's, Domino's, and Golden Corral. Recently, Uncle Maddio’s received significant investments from longtime restaurant entrepreneurs S&S Group and Atlanta lawyer and businessman Rutherford Seydel.
