May is National Salad Month and Uncle Maddio's Pizza has a full menu of entrée and side salads to enjoy all month-long. With health professionals recommending a diet rich in vegetables, the salads at Uncle Maddio’s feature a rainbow of colorful, healthy veggies that would make any dietician proud.
Throughout May, Uncle Maddio’s is offering a ThaiTastic salad for a limited time. With red bell peppers, purple cabbage, red onions, orange carrots, and green cilantro, the ThaiTastic Salad is loaded with fresh vegetables atop leafy field greens. Topped with juicy grilled chicken, the salad is finished with heart healthy peanuts and drizzled with handmade Thai peanut sauce and sweet and spicy honey Sriracha dressing.
Other entrée salads include a Greek Salad, Chicken Caesar, a classic Chopped Salad, or a Santa Fe Salad with grilled chicken, black bean corn salsa, bacon, Cheddar, crostini, cilantro, and homemade chipotle ranch dressing. For guests who prefer to build their own salad, Uncle Maddio’s has over 27 vegetables to choose from, 15 different meats, and organic baby spinach, mixed greens, or romaine lettuce.
“Unlike other fast-casual pizza concepts who may only offer a side salad, at Uncle Maddio’s we offer chef-created entrée salads that are filling enough for a meal or can also be made into a side salad portion,” says Matt Andrew, Uncle Maddio’s founder and CEO. “Or for guests who want to create their own salad, just like our pizza, the build-your-own salad options are virtually endless.”
Uncle Maddio’s is a next generation pizza restaurant that lets guests build their own pizza exactly how they want it and cooked in fast-baked ovens and served to their tables in about six minutes. Guests choose from one of three crusts, including a delicious gluten-free option, and 48 toppings, including six sauces, 27 vegetables, and 15 meats. Everything is fresh, from the pizza dough and sauce that’s made in-store each day to the wide variety of veggies. For guests looking to expand their pizza horizons, Uncle Maddio’s also offers signature pizzas ranging from the meaty Big Max to the Steak and Blue. Create-your-own salads and Foldwich sandwiches round out the Italian-inspired menu. The restaurant also offers a selection of craft beers and wine.
Since launching its aggressive growth plan in 2008, Uncle Maddio's has signed franchise agreements with 67 different entities in 18 states. Many of Uncle Maddio's franchisees have previous multiunit experience with Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Burger King, Krystal, Papa John's, Domino's, and Golden Corral.
