Healthy Fast Food Inc., parent to U-SWIRL International Inc., which owns and franchises U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt stores, announced that it will open its sixth company-owned store in Las Vegas on February 19.

With the opening of this new location, the total number of company-owned and franchised U-SWIRLs in operation rises to eight—seven in the Vegas valley and one that debuted in Reno, Nevada, in November. Healthy Fast Food recently announced that it also signed a franchise area development agreement in Phoenix to open a minimum of 18 new U-SWIRL Frozen Yogurt stores over the next five years in that key expansion market.

“In addition to the strong consumer appeal of our delicious yogurts, vast range of topping choices, and fun, self-serve concept, our customers are telling us that they greatly appreciate U-SWIRL’s ‘super-store’ size, providing generous, comfortable indoor and patio seating,” says Hank Cartwright, chairman and CEO of Healthy Fast Food. “As a result, we have the pleasure of routinely playing host to birthday parties, family reunions, and other special gatherings, providing our guests with a comfortable, safe place to relax, socialize, and celebrate.”

Guests of the new U-SWIRL store can create their own treats, choosing from 20 flavors of premium frozen yogurt, topped with as much or as little of the 70 toppings offered.

Moreover, boasting nearly 2,600 square feet of space, the new store will comfortably accommodate 65 ‘Swirlers’ inside and up to 56 on the outside patio.

To celebrate the opening of the new U-SWIRL-Flamingo location, a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony and special press event will be held on February 19, beginning at 4 p.m. PT.
