Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation’s most reliable wireless network, announced today that Chick-fil-A, Inc. has signed a two-year, voice and data agreement.

Implemented in January, this agreement will provide wireless service to more than 45,000 members of the Chick-fil-A system.

Chick-fil-A chose Verizon Wireless for its high customer service marks, most reliable network, and data service and product selection. Chick-fil-A has currently purchased 1000 Verizon Wireless lines and 1000 handsets, including Treos and PDAs. Additionally, the Atlanta-based company has invested in BroadbandAccess PC cards giving its chain wide employees access to the nation’s largest high-speed wireless broadband network.

“As we were researching wireless options to enhance our business, we came to the conclusion that we needed to align with a business-class carrier with the most reliable network,” says Linda McEntire, Information Technology of Chick-fil-A. “Like Verizon Wireless, Chick-fil-A prides itself on A+ customer service. We are confident in Verizon Wireless’ network and its ability to help our employees meet company objectives and provide immediate response to our customers’ needs.”

“Chick-fil-A is an Atlanta icon. We are thrilled to be affiliated with an organization such as Chick-fil-A that is customer-focused and strives to be the absolute best in their industry,” says Mark Bartolomeo, Director – Business Sales, Verizon Wireless. “We too focus day in and day out on being the best. It’s outstanding to know that the solid reputation and commitment we’ve made to deliver a superior wireless experience to our customers has won the attention of this well respected Atlanta-grown company and its restaurant system.”
