Growing restaurant brand Verts will open the doors to its 32nd restaurant in Denton this Saturday, April 23.

To celebrate the launch of the Denton, Texas, restaurant, 1715 S. Loop 288. Verts will give away one free, full-size entrée per guest from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant will also give away eight $25 gift cards in a raffle, as well as Verts swag. More prizes will be awarded through a social media contest.

“Denton is a wonderful city and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our fresh, flavorful, Mediterranean fast-casual concept to its residents,” says Verts cofounder and CEO Michael Heyne. “We’re excited to become a part of the community and look forward to making an impact with more than just our delicious food.”

As part of its commitment to serve the communities in which it operates, Verts will donate 100 percent of sales on Saturday to Serve Denton, a local organization supporting nonprofits that open doors for people to become self-sufficient. Guests who purchase sides, drinks, or additional entrées throughout the day will be happy to know that their money is going to a worthy cause in the Denton community.

Verts Denton is the 32nd location for the restaurant brand in Texas. The company will continue to expand in Texas throughout 2016, with plans to open eight to 10 additional locations across Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Verts will open its first out-of-state location this summer when it launches on the East Coast. Overall, the fast-casual Mediterranean plans to open at least 20 new restaurants in 2016.
