WaBa Grill, one of the nation’s leading healthy rice bowl chains, is excited to expand its menu of fresh and flavorful offerings with a new plant-based protein option in partnership with the nation’s #1 tofu brand, Nasoya Foods USA. The launch of Nasoya’s Plantspired Bulgogi, a Korean BBQ-inspired alternative to steak, at WaBa Grill marks the first time Nasoya has teamed up with a large restaurant chain. The Plantspired protein will be available this summer at all WaBa Grill locations and will power the healthy fast casual brand’s ongoing effort to expand its plant-based and dietary-specific menu offerings.

Asian-inspired in steak-like form, the new Plantspired product is a great source of protein, grilled perfectly to satisfy popular Korean BBQ cravings. Its tender and amazingly sweet and savory flavor takes plant-based eating to a whole new level. The new protein will be featured alongside WaBa Grill’s existing menu of better-for-you options like fresh, never frozen grilled chicken, marinated ribeye steak, wild-caught salmon, jumbo shrimp and organic tofu. Delicious on any bowl, plate or salad, guests can enjoy WaBa Grill’s Plantspired™ Steak beginning this summer at its nearly 200 locations throughout California and Arizona.
