Wienerschnitzel opened its newest location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the fifth location in the city and the first featuring the brand’s Heritage build, showcasing a contemporary look along with elements inspired by Wienerschnitzel’s original A-frame design which debuted in the early 60s. The first Heritage model opened in El Paso, Texas, in 2015.

Located in the West Bluff community, Wienerschnitzel will serve its entire menu of favorites including a variety of hot dogs, chili dogs, chili cheese fries, and Tastee Freez soft serve treats.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the West Bluff community to our newest restaurant,” says Jason Albritton, restaurant operator and Albuquerque resident. “We’re excited to become a fixture in the community, and are looking forward serving our longtime fans along with introducing the unique Wienerschnitzel experience to new guests in the region.”

Albritton, who has been with the brand for more than 20 years, will oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of more than 30 employees. Founded in 1961 as a single hot dog stand in Southern California, today the iconic American brand, known for its world famous, secret recipe chili, serves more than 120 million hot dogs each year.
