Wienerschnitzel’s newest menu item, The New York Pizza Dog, was successfully tested for five months in Southern California prior to being launched chainwide on September 25. Its rollout will be supported with television and radio spots as well as in-store point-of-purchase materials. Pricing will start at$1.99, and the new hotdog meal will be available at all Wienerschnitzel locations through the end of the year.
“The New York Pizza Dog is now one of two Wienerschnitzel menu items that showcase our delicious Italian Sausage product,” says Tom Amberger, director of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “Our Italian Sausage [Sandwich] has already proven very popular with our customers.”
