Yoshinoya, one of Japan’s most respected restaurant companies and a global brand with more than 1,400 worldwide locations, today announced the opening of four new restaurant locations in Southern California. These new locations express the brand’s dedication to their heritage and tradition, as well as showcase the latest brand innovations, technology, and customer service to the Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside markets. With this latest growth, the Yoshinoya brand now operates or franchises more than 90 locations in the United States.

“Yoshinoya is proud of our 110-year history of tradition, consistent growth, and customer loyalty, especially during difficult economic times such as those we face today. Unlike many quick-service restaurant brands, we continue to create opportunities for the growth of our brand in Los Angeles and beyond, and we will be announcing even more restaurant openings in the coming months,” says 21-year veteran and senior vice president of operations, Manuel Villarreal.
Aggressive growth is scheduled to continue for Yoshinoya in 2009 with openings scheduled across various Southern California cities Lakewood, Sun Valley, Sylmar among others.
