Zoup! has stirred up a loyal following in Pittsburgh, serving award-winning soups and made-to-order salads and sandwiches from its Fox Chapel, Southpointe & Washington locations. Now, more area residents will get to see what all the fuss is about, as construction is currently underway on a new location in the bustling Robinson Town Centre shopping complex. The new restaurant is the second Zoup! for franchise owners Dean and Toni Evers, whose Washington location of the fast casual restaurant celebrates its first anniversary this month.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be bringing delicious, healthy soups to Robinson Town Centre,” says Toni Evers. “Zoup! is a proven concept with a first-rate culture of serving the community. We’re looking forward to being a vital partner to our friends and neighbors for years to come.”
The Evers plan to open three to five additional Zoup! restaurants throughout the Pittsburgh area. Entrepreneurship runs in the family for Dean, who serves as global supply chain manager with the Kurt J. Lesker company. His father ran a chain of nine Ben Franklin stores in addition to two food stores, a bowling alley, a movie theater and a farm. Today, all seven of Evers’ siblings and nine of his nieces and nephews also own their own businesses. In addition to this history of entrepreneurship, Toni brings 20 years of leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies.

Zoup! features a wide variety of award-winning soups with 12 rotating daily varieties, including low-fat, low-cal, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options, all served with a hunk of freshly baked bread. Customer favorites include Chicken Potpie, Lobster Bisque and Brewhouse Cheddar, but guests are encouraged to find the soup that’s perfect for them by sampling before they order. The menu also features seasonal, made-to-order salads and sandwiches, and all menu items are available in convenient catering sizes for groups of 10 or more.
