At Biscuitville FRESH SOUTHERN, local is going Lowcountry with the Spicy Chicken and Jalapeño Pimento Cheese Biscuit. The spicy chicken biscuit, covered with jalapeño pimento cheese from Palmetto Cheese of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, offers heat with a Lowcountry twist.

“We started with our delicious and popular spicy chicken and paired it with a local favorite treat from South Carolina’s Lowcountry,” says Burney Jennings, Biscuitville’s CEO. “By adding jalapeños to pimento cheese, our friends at Palmetto Cheese have created the perfect twist on a Southern classic. Combining that with our Spicy Chicken has resulted in a biscuit that will heat up your taste buds! It’s a smooth and spicy flavor, sure to remind you of life in the Lowcountry.”

Like all good Southerners, Brian and Sassy Henry, the cofounders of Palmetto Cheese, grew up on pimento cheese. Brian was raised in Louisiana and is accustomed to a little extra spice in his life and food. To him, it seemed natural to add jalapeños to a childhood favorite. The result is a biscuit that’s not too hot, but has jalapeño flavor with a little burn.

“Biscuitville’s spicy chicken biscuits were already delicious,” Henry says. “But adding jalapeños, and a little pimento cheese with soul, takes them to a whole new level!”

Biscuitville’s Spicy Chicken and Jalapeño Pimento Cheese Biscuit is a unique, tasty take on Southern cuisine. The spice component in the chicken brings the heat with a blend of American-grown peppers: cayenne for heat, white pepper for balance, and bell peppers for flavor. The addition of a layer of jalapeño pimento cheese adds just a little more spice.

The Spicy Chicken and Jalapeño Pimento Cheese Biscuit is available for a limited time at all 54 Biscuitville restaurants in North Carolina and Virginia (excluding the Elon University location).
