Rita's Italian Ice, the nation's largest Italian ice concept with more than 625 stores in 19 states, will offer regular Italian ices for just $2 to celebrate the first day of summer on June 20, 2012.
"Is there a better way to kick off summer than by treating yourself to an amazing Rita's Italian Ice on a hot afternoon?" says Jonathan Fornaci, CEO of Rita's Franchise Company. "We invite Rita's Ice lovers everywhere to enjoy the first day of summer at Rita's."
Available in more than 60 flavors–including Cherry, Alex's Lemonade, Mango, Swedish Fish, Kiwi-Strawberry, and Island Fusion–Rita's is made on-site daily from scratch at each store. The brand also offers Misto Shakes, a combination of Italian ice blended with custard; Gelati, Italian ice layered with creamy frozen custard; and Blendinis, frozen custard and Rita's ice blended with a choice of mix-in.
