LevelUp, the pay phone app, today announced that boloco, a family of globally inspired burrito restaurants, has fully integrated LevelUp’s mobile payment technology into its NetPOS point-of-sale solution.
Now, all 18 locations of the fast-casual chain will accept mobile payments with LevelUp, making it even faster and easier for customers to get their burritos, bowls, salads, smoothies, and shakes.
“I'm incredibly excited to be working with boloco,” says LevelUp’s Chief Ninja, Seth Priebatsch. “I've loved their burritos and smoothies for literally almost a decade now, so now the team and I have even one more excuse to go there everyday! And it's been great to work with NetPOS to get LevelUp integrated right into their cloud-based point-of-sale solution to make paying with LevelUp at boloco such a fast, convenient customer experience.”
Beginning today, boloco guests can leave their wallets behind and pay for their orders with their iPhone or Droid by simply holding their smartphone up to the LevelUp Scanner situated next to each register. After paying with their phones, guests automatically receive an e-mail receipt for their purchase and can also access a full transaction history within the app.
Boloco is also using LevelUp's customer engagement tools, rewarding its guests with a $2 credit the first time they pay with LeveUp, and inviting them to unlock $10 every time they spend $100 through LevelUp.
“With LevelUp, we saw an opportunity to provide an ultra fast way for our time-crunched guests to make their boloco experience even faster,” says John Pepper, boloco’s CEO and founder.
“Now they literally just have to scan their mobile phone, grab their food, and that’s it. We’re psyched to partner with another Boston-based company that’s at the leading edge of mobile technology and one that’s going to improve our guest experience as we continue to grow boloco. Plus, LevelUp’s CEO has the coolest bike on the East Coast and Boloco loves cool bikes.”
