In a slow-smoked homage to Oktoberfest, City Barbeque will celebrate “Quetoberfest” September 19 to October 3 in support of the American Cancer Society. Restaurants will donate $1 from the sale of every half-chicken or the local festival lager and limited-edition pint glass duo sale.

Local City Barbeque joints will sell the limited-edition, Quetoberfest pint glasses in a collaborative sale with Columbus-area brewery Actual Brewing Co.’s Wiener-München festival lager. Get the two together for only $5 and $1 from each sale will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Another featured menu item during this two-week event include City Barbeque’s smoked sausage with grilled green peppers and onions.

“This promotion is a unique opportunity to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and we are excited for guests to see the surprises we have in store,” says Rick Malir, founder of City Barbeque. “Quetoberfest will be a lot of fun in support of a great cause.”

This is the first year City Barbeque will celebrate Quetoberfest, which the company intends to make an annual event.
