City Barbeque will once again start the new year by raising funds to support veterans living with traumatic brain injury. While supplies last, restaurant guests can purchase a limited-edition drink tumbler for $5, with all proceeds benefitting the Resurrecting Lives Foundation.

Guests who purchase this year’s tumbler will receive free refills (with any purchase) through March 31, 2018. This fundraising campaign is now in its fourth year, having raised more than $37,500 to date in support of the Resurrecting Lives Foundation. Established in 2012, the foundation helps veterans with traumatic brain injury successfully transition to a post-military career and life through advocacy, aid, fundraising, and research.

“Resurrecting Lives Foundation is so pleased to partner again this year with City Barbeque on their tumbler sales,” says Chrisanne Gordon, Resurrecting Lives founder and executive director. “Funds raised in past years have enabled RLF to provide transition services for veterans with TBI seeking employment, provide scholarships to receive training in meditation, and support collaborations with the Intrepid Centers and Military Traumatic Brain Injury rehab facilities, to mention just a few of our initiatives. We thank you in advance for your purchase of one of these cups during the month of January.”
