Fog Cutter Capital Group Inc.'s Fatburger restaurant unit joined some of Hollywood's hottest stars to support Children's Hospital Los Angeles 1st Annual "All You Need is Love" Valentine's Day Party. Patients and their families were treated to an unforgettable day filled with treats, special activities, and several moving musical performances.

Chelsie Hightower of "Dancing With The Stars," current “DWTS” champion JR Martinez, Corbin Bleu ("High School Musical"), Rachel Leigh Cook ("Perception") and husband Daniel Gillies ("The Vampire Diaries"), Annika Marks ("The Surrogate"), Cory Almeida ("Pictureka"), Meagan Tandy ("Jane by Design"), Neil Grayston ("Eureka"), Sufe Bradshaw ("Veep"), and Disney star Trevor Jackson spent time playing with the children, sharing words of encouragement, and helping the children make Valentine's Day cards and chocolate jewelry.

Children and their mothers were treated to makeovers and some CHLA patients had beautiful artwork painted on their faces while guests enjoyed turkey burgers and veggie burgers served from Fatburger's "Fatmobile."

Twelve-year-old Eileen Garrido was introduced by event organizer Amy Malin. Garrido spoke eloquently about the care she received when she was a patient at the hospital and received thunderous applause after she performed a song that she wrote and dedicated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

“American Idol” finalist and recording artist Elliott Yamin, a longtime supporter of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, performed two songs from his new album due out in March.

Guests were then treated to another special musical performance by rising star Austin Brown, part of the Jackson family musical dynasty. CHLA patient Hayley sat next to Brown during his second song and said he couldn’t think of any place he would have rather spent Valentine’s Day than at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

"This was a wonderful opportunity to give back to the Los Angeles community," says Andrew Wiederhorn, chairman, Fatburger. "We're inspired by the courage and resilience of these children and the tireless efforts of the CHLA staff, both professional and the volunteers who help make events like this possible."

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has been named the best children’s hospital in California and among the best in the nation for clinical excellence with its selection to the prestigious U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll. Children’s Hospital is home to The Saban Research Institute, one of the largest pediatric research facilities in the United States.
