Bar La Rose, named after Halidom Eatery owner Hal Blackman’s wife, is an art-deco-inspired craft cocktail bar and offers seating for thirty guests amidst floor-to-ceiling windows. The eatery is distinguished by a two-acre outdoor space, which includes a scenic walking trail, picnic tables, and family-friendly, pet-friendly environments, making it a much-needed addition to the Southeast Atlanta community.
Designed by Eimer Design Studio, a renowned architect and design firm, the interior is infused with a touch of tropical flair and a warm motif with pops of pink, floral-inspired wallpaper, and retro style lighting. Cozy pockets of indoor space offer seating for both small and large groups. As a whole, the design is a nod to the art deco era.
Halidom Eatery will have concierge service that ensures every guest is greeted with a smile, every question is answered with care, and there will be an innovative temperature-controlled locker system to make food pickup by third-party partners as effortless as possible.

Set to redefine dining, Halidom Eatery promises a gastronomic journey with local and regional culinary brands across eleven stalls, a plush bar, an elite event area, and a carefully curated outdoor green space.
Even before its public debut, the eatery has engaged with the East Atlanta community through various neighborhood sponsorships and events. Located at the IST Management headquarters’ base, it’s the inaugural phase of a mixed-use domain, Halidom, which will house residential, retail spaces, and the now open, peaceful 2-acre park, offering an oasis amidst the urban hustle of Moreland Avenue. “Halidom” resonates with the 12th-century term, symbolizing “sanctuary.”
Halidom Eatery has partnered with MUST Ministries, where guests can round up their food or bar spend to the next dollar to be donated. Other nonprofits will be highlighted throughout various months of the year.
Situated in Southeast Atlanta off Moreland Ave, it’s a 5-minute drive from downtown Atlanta and minutes away from the main interstates. Parking is complimentary. Surrounding neighborhoods benefiting from this culinary addition include East Atlanta, Glenwood Park, Chosewood Park, Ormewood Park, Boulevard Heights, Woodland Hills, Gresham Park, and Constitution.
Hours are Monday – Thursday, 11:00 am to 9:00 pm; Friday & Saturday, 11:00 am to 10:00 pm; and Sunday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
